Omaha poker rules

Omaha is a thrilling poker variation which is derived from Texas Hold'em. Every player receives four down cards ("Hole Cards"). These belong exclusively to the respective player. Then a total of five communal cards("Community Cards") are distributed in several rounds openly in the middle of the poker table which form together the "Board". All players can use these communal cards to form the best poker hand from a combination of a total of five cards together with two their concealed down cards. In Omaha exactly two cards from the hand and three from the board needs to be used! You find the order of rank of the single poker sheets here.

Omaha is played with the help of a "dealer button" which shows, which player now nominally be the dealer. Before the beginning of every hand the players must deposit immediately a duty fee into the pot, the so-called "Blinds" to the lefts of the dealer. First these two players must bring the "Small Blind", typically half of a small bet (5 chips in a 10/20 play). The other player must pay the "Big Blind" by size of a small bet, in our example 10 chips. Now every player receives his four hole cards. The first betting round is beginning with the first player that follows directly on the left from the Big Blind. Every bet and every rise occur in each case in small bets (10 play chips in a 10/20 game).

Now the "flop" is dealt. The flop stands of the first three of a total of five communal cards which are uncovered in the middle of the table. A new betting round begins with the player who sits clockwise (on the left) most near to the button. Bettings and rises occur again in small bettings, exactly like before the flop.

If this betting round is finished, an other card is openly laid out, the "doing gymnastics". The turn is the fourth communal card in the table middle. The betting round begins again with the player who sits clockwise most near on the left from the button. Now in this betting round the betting or every rise doubles. Now in a 10/20 play 20 play chips are put, and the first rise would occur around 20 on a total of 40 chips. Therefore, the second reraise would have to be the amount to a total of 60 chips (20 bettings + 20 from the first rise + 20 for this rise).

If the betting round is finished for the turn, the last one of the five open communal cards is dealt, the "River". The betting round begins as had with the player who sits as first on the left from the button. The least betting amounts are again the size  of the big bet.

If more than one player is left after the last betting, the player who bet or a rise last must uncover first his cards. (All players have checked in this betting round, the first player must uncover on the left his cards from the button first.) The player with the best Omaha sheet (educated from a total of five cards - two own four concealed getting Cards and three communal cards of the Board) wins the pot. If two or more players have an equivalent sheet, the pot is split accordingly.

After the pot was distributed, this hand is past and new cards for an other hand can be distributed. Now in addition the button walks a player further to the left.
